1. Who We Are

ClawStart.io is operated by COMPUBYTE LIMITED, a company registered in the Republic of Cyprus. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. You can reach us at support@clawstart.io.

2. What Data We Collect

We collect the following categories of data:

Account data: email address, hashed password (for web signups), or Telegram user ID (for bot signups).

Billing data: subscription plan, payment history, and Stripe customer ID. We do not store credit card numbers; Stripe handles that directly.

Usage data: message counts, agent status, plan limits, and feature usage.

Technical logs: server logs that may include IP addresses, request timestamps, and error details. These are used for debugging and security monitoring.

Analytics: we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use our website. GA4 collects anonymized browsing data, page views, and interaction events.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your data to provide and maintain the service, process payments, send transactional notifications (account confirmation, payment receipts), monitor system health, and improve the platform. We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising.

4. Conversations and Agent Data

Your conversations with your AI agent stay inside your Docker container. We do not read, export, or use your conversations for model training or any other purpose. When you send a message, it goes from your container to the AI model provider you selected and back. We do not intercept or store the content of those messages on our side.

Agent configuration files and conversation history are stored in a dedicated data directory on our server, accessible only to your container.

5. Cookies and Analytics

Our website uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) for anonymous usage statistics. GA4 may set cookies to distinguish users and track sessions. We also send server-side events to GA4 for purchase and subscription tracking. We do not use cookies for advertising or profiling.

6. Third-Party Data Processors

We share data with the following third parties, only as needed to operate the service:

Stripe processes payments. They receive your email and payment details. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.

Google Analytics receives anonymized browsing data from our website. See Google's Privacy Policy.

AI model providers (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, DeepSeek, Moonshot, Mistral) receive your agent's messages when you interact with your agent. Each provider has its own data handling policies.

7. Data Retention

Account data is kept for as long as your account is active. Agent data (conversations, configuration) is stored on our server for the duration of your subscription. After account deletion or subscription cancellation, agent data is deleted within 30 days for paid accounts and within 7 days for free accounts. Server logs are retained for up to 90 days.

8. Your Rights (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You can also object to processing, request data portability, or withdraw consent. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@clawstart.io. We will respond within 30 days.

9. Data Security

We use TLS encryption for all connections to our website and API. Each tenant's agent runs in an isolated Docker container with network-level separation. Database credentials and API keys are stored in environment variables, not in source code. Access to production servers is restricted to key-based SSH authentication.

10. International Data Transfers

Our servers are located in Europe. If you use a third-party AI model provider based outside the EEA, your agent's messages may be processed in their data centers. We rely on the provider's own data protection commitments and, where applicable, Standard Contractual Clauses.

11. Children

ClawStart is not intended for users under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top. For significant changes, we will notify users by email or through the platform. Continued use of ClawStart after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
